My Daily Day 2

From Messy House

You know.. sometimes (well a lot of times) I feel bad that I couldn’t keep my house clean like other people houses.  At the same time, I feel so tired of keep on cleaning/picking up the toys and my lil princess keep on following behind me and making a mess just right after I cleaned it up.

Anyway, I heard so many friends of mine saying “Oo i gotta go to clean up the house before my husband comes home” and honestly every time I hear that.. I feel so guilty.. because I don’t really care about cleaning our house anymore.  Why? because I have the greatest husband ever.. he NEVER EVER complained about our messy house.. not even once.

I used to be the gal who ALWAYS have to make the bed every morning before I got up.. not anymore…  I used to be a clean freak… now I’m happy just the way it is :D.

Anyway.. I just want to say that I love my husband usualy when he wants the house clean.. he actually do it by himself.. he never said “O M G look at our house…” Nope.. never..

Thanks babe… I Love you soooo much…

So.. people have been asking me, so when you’re not on the internet or not watching TV… so what are you doing then??

Well.. we read books (carissa & I), play outside, play anything, singing (humming counts right?), listen to music & dancing.

While she naps, I still go online and chat with people, check my email and all that.  Still try to limit to use my computer for work purposes and socialize hehehe no online shopping.

Back to the main topic…  I also got a chance to CLEAN!!! yeap.. my big project for the day was the Laundry Room!!

It’s been a while since I want to write a blog about my weird pet peeves.

Here are some of them:

1. I have to clean the kitchen before I cook
2. I have to wash the dishes and make sure the kitchen clean before I can eat (getting better on this one)
3. I do NOT like a clutter desktop icons
4. I always delete whatever on my desktop or make a new folder, name it ‘desktop junk’ and dump all the files in that folder.
5. I always feel that I need at least 50GB hard drive free, no idea why but I always delete a lot of files to make sure I have 50GB free space on my computer.
6. I feel so irritated when I heard people walking dragging their feet/shoes/sandals
7. I don’t like my feet touching the ground when I’m sitting down
8. I don’t like wearing socks.. they make my toes claustrophobic
9. I have to organize my dishwasher before I run them.  Top left all the glasses, top center carissa’s plates & bowls, top right our bowls and small plates.  Bottom rack: big plates only. Knifes (no matter butter knifes or steak knifes, they have to face down!) the rest of the silverware facing up.
10. I have to match the socks to the detail, even tho they’re the same black socks, I have to make sure the black color match. Sometime there are semi faded black that HAVE to match with the faded black socks too.

Do you think I’m crazy yet?

I guess slowly but sure I got my destri back together. How do I know this? because now I care about my appearance again, I put on make-up *mostly* everyday, and the best thing is.. I got my clean freak mode on!! woohooO!!

After went to my co-worker’s new apt., I found out how walking closet that you can walk around in the closet would be nice. So I went to Lowe’s yesterday and got some closet organizers stuff.

So now… since I donated 4 full trash bag of clothes to Goodwill, now.. those of you who lives in Ames and like good deal and sz 0, 1, 2, XS, S Go to Goodwill!! I donated DKNY, Express, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Old Navy, Gap, Guess, and lots of branded clothes.  Some of them are still new with tag huahauhauaha.  Lots of super mini skirt that I don’t think it’s appropriate anymore for me as a mommy.

I just realized how filter is expensive and how many filter we have in our household..

First we have the house filter, that for sure need to be change, and then the water filter from our fridge.. that cost 30 bucks and only last for 6 mos., now humidifier in Carissa’s room, that wasn’t too bad only 10 bucks for 2 filters. Good thing the Dyson filter is washable, otherwise we have to purchase another filter. O and not to forget the Air Purifier filter… *sigh*

oh my.. I just spent about 52 bucks last night purchasing our water & humidifier filter.

Ok.. gotta go.. princess c is cranky.. time for her nap..

First of all.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!! he’s one of my awesome coworkers…

So… what have I done these past two days….  yesterday I finally scrubbed all 4 bathrooms.. after the 3rd bathrooms.. I almost fainted… wow..

Then.. what else did I do… Oo.. I donated some of Carson’s clothes that I ‘accidentaly’ ruined

Cooked lunch and dinner for Carson.. oo we went for a walk yesterday.. and we will do it again today I guess.

Today… I managed to change the bed sheet and all that jazz… do another load of laundry with Carissa’s towels and all the bath robe that Carson got for her.  Post stuff on ebay for sale, and work a lil bit from home.. cleaned up the fridge… sweep and mop the kitchen floor…

Wow… I got A LOT of things accomplished today!! so happy..

Now time to relax again and watch some TV!

Let’s see what have I done today.

I woke up around 9am, made breakfast for Carson, cleaned up the kitchen. Prepared his lunch box, wait until he left.

Finally he left around 10-ish, I went upstair get ready to go to the Hospital for some registration stuff. Went home, did 2 loads of laundry. I just realized that Carissa has a lot of clothes now… I bet some of them we might not be able to use since she will grow very fast.

Then I gathered some recipe and created a whole week menu for lunch and dinner. Went to the grocery store, came home and unload all the groceries. Folded Carissa’s clothes and then start cooking for dinner.

Carson came home, we ate and now I’m going to go for a walk.

You think staying at home is not tiring… but it’s actually more physical labor since at the office I will just sit and use my brain. But at home I actually have to get up, clean up, sweep the floor… Oooo I finally sterilized the bottles and other carissa’s stuff.

Still a lot of things need to be done.. but I have time… so I can do it step by step…

Nite nite…

Woke up at 8 because carson just got back from cedar rapids, and then I went back to bed till 12 heheheh.  Woke up, did our laundry and then baked brownies.  After that I decided to go to Target to get some baby stuff.  I thought that I won’t be those moms that buy different detergent for baby clothes.  But i did! hehehehe I bought the generic Target brand tho, and stain remover for baby clothes, etc etc.

After that I picked up our lunch from Hickory park and then went back home… ate lunch…

Now I’m washing all carissa’s clothes (both new and used), last night I packed the hospital bag already.  Since last night I was reading the babycenter June 07 board, how most of them deliver early.  So you never know…

Oooo and I also put together the carseat!! :).  It’s harder than i thought.. but I did it! I will let carson figure out how to put the base in my car.

WOW… i did a lot today!! now i’m just waiting for the dryer… and then i need to fold those cute tiny clothes!

“Do you think I can fit in this laptop bag? I’m coming to work with my papa tomorrow!”

We woke up around 11 this “morning” hehehehe and then we watched Heroes till around 4-ish.  Then I decided to vacuum the whole house.. not a good idea for a pregger… that’s alot of carrying the vacuum and bending over…

Now I need to start cooking dinner, and back to relaxing.  Today I decided not to spend anymore money untill payday (Thursday).  I need to save a lot of money since I will be a stay home mom for 3 months.

I guess they’re right, once you’re pregnant your life and body feel like being taking over by an alien.  You don’t feel like yourself, your emotion becoming unstable.  But I guess my nesting instinct already kicked in, but as some of you who knows me.. I like to clean anyway, so I today after work, I prepared dinner for us while waiting for the food.  I actually cleaned again, I vacuum carissa’s room moved the white bookshelf to her room.  Organized all her books, at least now I can open the closet before I only can open the other door but now I can open both doors.  So we might not need a dresser after all.

Time to go to sleep now, Carson still fixing the blind in the other guest room.  I wonder why suddenly after 2 years, we care about the blinds in the other room.  But I think after this we’re good till Carissa can crawl…. then we have to child proof our house.
