Halloween Costume

October 24th, 2008 Filed under: Carissa, Random Thoughts by d.andorf

I finally get it done!!! Carson’s costume it is…

I’m not a big halloween fans.. I think the reason behind it is just because I didn’t grew up with Halloween.  I don’t really care about the party.. ot the costume.  But when Carissa alrady 3 yrs old, maybe she can go trick or treating.

The idea of go door to door asking for candies just bothers me.  I don’t mind giving out candies.. but asking for candies from people that we don’t know… that sounds like a beggar to me.

Oh well.. Icha for sure can go trick or treating later when she understand what’s going on.. but not this year.

I still need to make shoes for baby gifts for my former co worker.. I think she’s due anytime now.. still debating which one should I make for her.

okay.. icha is awake now… have a nice weekend…

I just found out that dental insurance can be maxed out! BAH BAH.. so for this year they said I already maxed out.  So they don’t really cover my crowning! sux!!! so they only pay like 140 bucks out of my 2640 bill! #!&*#@#&!@(#&@* bah bah bah….

Carissa still trying to nap as I typing my blog.. *sigh* why can’t she nap.. she looks tired.. and rubbing her eyes a lot.

Anyway.. I think that’s it.. for now…

Wall-E

July 19th, 2008 Filed under: Carissa, Dates, Family by d.andorf

Today, finally after a longggg time, Carson and I went to a movie theater. Yeap… I don’t even remember when was the last time we went to a movie theater.  But I remember I was pregnant at the time and we went to a dollar theater, so it was so uncomfortable.

Anyway, today we finally went to see wall-e.  I think I had too much high expectation on this movie since so many people told me how awesome is this movie. So I give the movie a B+, I still think other pixar movie better.  BUT I said this just because I was expecting a hillarious movie that I couldn’t stop laughing and ended up peeing my pants.  But I didn’t :(. The worst part was, I couldn’t stop thinking about Carissa.  I know she should be fine with her grandma & pa & cousins & auntie and uncle.  But since I’m a mom, so I can’t stop thinking about her.

Overall it was good to be out on a date with my wonderful hubby… :) i love you hubby wubby.

After the movie we went to olive garden and got some food to go and came home to my wonderful daughter who came up to me rightaway and gave me a milk sign. Then I nursed her :D and everyone happy :D

Busy Day for Me

April 26th, 2008 Filed under: Carissa by d.andorf

I tried so hard to keep up with my house.. but with a teething baby, there is no way I can get anything done today. :( At least I got my grocery shop done for this months.

I bought at least 24 lbs of beef and 20 lbs of chicken! and learned from my past experience, now I cut them up and separate them in advanced. So when I need to cook for 4 people, I know how many bags I need and I don’t need to defrost 12 lbs chicken at one time :D

And then I went to the organic grocery store in town, bought more food supply for Carissa. I do care about what she eats.. and don’t really care what I eat. Bah.. do you know that organic ground beef is $4 per pound??!! that’s insane. So since Carissa can eat meat now, I don’t want to buy those chicken/beef/turkey dinner in a plastic cup thingy. I just don’t feel comfortable about that… I’m alright with veggie or fruit that ready to go.. but meat… hmm..

So I managed to boil/grill/steam carissa’s food.. but once I was so ready to freeze them.. she got soooo cranky.. I can’t even leave her alone.. she will scream.. so I ended up have to lay down or sit next to her while she’s playing.

Now she’s already sleeping.. and my day has just begun..

11 pair of shoes to go.. carissa’s food need to be frozen.. and 20 lbs chicken needs to be bag into several freezer bags. And.. I need dinner!!! i need food!!!!

Juicer

January 10th, 2008 Filed under: Carissa, Random Thoughts, Shopping by d.andorf

Because of Ringga keep on talking about juicer, now I want one :D so Carson got it for me as one of my xmas presents :D.  It was on sale for $49.99 when he bought it, the next day it went up to $99.99 !!! hauhauhau the retail price is $199.99

Hopefully he get it with that price.. it’s awesome! :) I’ll let you know once I get it.

Carissa has been eating solid food, I got this food processor thing from my mother-in-law (thx mom).  It’s been awesome… I made Carissa carrot puree, sweet potatoes (she doesn’t like it), apple puree, and green beans.  So far she likes all of them except sweet potatoes.  Weird.. but she LOVES green beans.. all of those are organic vegetable & fruits.

I think that’s the best thing for her, money can go away but good health & education will stay with her forever.

Coach’s “widow”

For those of you who are dating or engage with a coach need to beware.  Yesterday Carson already warned me that he won’t be able to be around as much this week.. *sigh*  I can’t wait till the wrestling season over.  I know he does love coaching so much and I won’t take this one away from him.  But sometimes I feel like I need some rest, take a deep breath.. and just have my ‘me’ time.

Since I can’t really relax.. I’ve been sick for 2 weeks now (since Dec 26).. I’m getting better.. but still sneezing and coughing.. anyway… so I told myself next time when we have the second child, I’m gonna plan it so the baby will be born in March, so I don’t have to handle 2 kids by myself.

I don’t know how other people can take care of kids, baby, and pets. How can you people do it? I honestly don’t get it.

Tonight I finally made Apple Pie.. it’s been a while.. actually this is my first attempt making apple pie.  I bought the cheapest apples tho, it’s 99 cents per pound.  *inhale* hmm… fresh apple pie smell… :D

We’re Sick :( (well at least I’m still sick)

First I think Carson got it, and then Carissa.. and I’m the last one left.

It’s not fun being sick and still have to take care of a baby… huuuu huuuu last night Carissa didn’t want to go to bed till like 2am ish :(. *sigh* God please give me strength to go through this…
