My Daily Day 2

Today, finally after a longggg time, Carson and I went to a movie theater. Yeap… I don’t even remember when was the last time we went to a movie theater.  But I remember I was pregnant at the time and we went to a dollar theater, so it was so uncomfortable.

Anyway, today we finally went to see wall-e.  I think I had too much high expectation on this movie since so many people told me how awesome is this movie. So I give the movie a B+, I still think other pixar movie better.  BUT I said this just because I was expecting a hillarious movie that I couldn’t stop laughing and ended up peeing my pants.  But I didn’t :(. The worst part was, I couldn’t stop thinking about Carissa.  I know she should be fine with her grandma & pa & cousins & auntie and uncle.  But since I’m a mom, so I can’t stop thinking about her.

Overall it was good to be out on a date with my wonderful hubby… i love you hubby wubby.

After the movie we went to olive garden and got some food to go and came home to my wonderful daughter who came up to me rightaway and gave me a milk sign. Then I nursed her and everyone happy

This morning I went to work and saw this car stuck in the snow at our office parking lot. Later on today the owner came and tried to get the car out of the snow. Since we live in Iowa… translation.. people are so nice… so some of my co-workers actually went out and help the poor guy.

After work, Carson and I decided to go on our date night, it’s been a while. So we went to Indigo Joe’s and then we went to see Reno 911: Miami. I gave the movie a C+. It’s alright.. not really hilarious but it made me laugh.

Alrighty.. Nite nite..

Carson took me out to dinner.. we went to this steak place that I never knew before.  It called Buford’s Steak House & BBQ.  It’s so yummy… especially there’s this one sauce called golden, it’s a mix of honey mustard and BBQ sauce.. it’s so yummy!!!

ooooooooo I’m so full… so ready for bed

okay 2 more working days till long weekend… c’mone destri you can do it!!!!

What else new today… hmmm nothin really beside it was raining all day! it’s December for crying out loud… RAIN yes it’s raining in Iowa…in December..

Sorry… last night after work Carson took me out to dinner.. and I can pick the place. So, I picked Olive Garden. We went to Des Moines and ate… I had their Soup & Salad… so yummy!!! when I ate the salad.. I keep Lisa in my mind since she told me to eat some for her hehehehehhe.

After that we went for a walk around Valley West Younkers (since it’s almost 9pm and I think all the mall closed at 9 except Younkers.. they’re closed at 10).

Went back home… and then I fell asleep till 1:26am. hahahahhaha and then went back to bed…. That is why I forgot to update my blog!!!

We went to Des Moines yesterday, Chommany and Nik invited us to have lunch at their house.  She made us Pho (the vietnamese noodles).  So yummy… Chommany is hmm 8 months pergnant, the baby due in December.. Christmas baby!! heheheheh so excited for them!

After that we went to Ric & joni house to drop off the souvenirs that we got for them from the trip.  Chatted lil bit and off we went to Ringga’s place.  Basically we went everywhere yesterday.  We stopped by at Kohls since I found my favorite Jeans at Kohls.  I wasn’t a big fans of jeans.. I love khakis.. till I found ‘SO’ (the brand of jeans).  I only bought 1 pair.

After all the journey we went to see ‘the departed’.  I say… hmm.. I gave a B- for the movie.. as I said.. I always give at least C if the movie didn’t make me fall asleep.  Carson said the movie was okay…. (that’s it)

I wonder what Lisa thinks about the ‘Grudge 2′ movie.. you have to tell me the whole story on Monday since I’m not planning to see it at all hehehehehehe

I decided I will dye my hair pink for the halloween (just for the 1 day)… I will try to make people wear a costume to the office on that day.

PS:  Carson has been a good hubby these days, he made me food 2 days in a row!! can you believe that??!!! i love you!!!!

Hi.. we went out to dinner with the Yeates! we went to Hickory Park for dinner.. I got Matt and Megan some snacks from the Asian food store.  When Joni emailed me and told me that they will stop by, I went to Jung’s real quick to get these snacks for Matt & Megan.

I got them Pocky sticks and Koala cookies.. that’s what I called them when I was a lil kid.  I just think that would be neat to share my childhood snacks with them.  Matt got all the chocolate flavor and megan got the strawbery flavor..

After that we went to Target to buy Latch’s wedding presents. I also got a lot of Magnets!!! from the $1 spot.. a lot of magnets!!! fun magnets… i love magnets.. i really do.. heheheheh.  We also went to the mall to look for some dresses.. I found 1 gown that I like.. long gown.. 80-ish dollar.. so I didn’t buy it..  maybe if on Monday i couldn’t found any that i like.. I will buy that one.

Okay.. time to go to the bed and enjoy my 3 days weekend… Have a nice weekend!!
PS: timmy is getting better!! he meowed at me!! and he ate too… I think I prefer my cat fat but healthy… no more diet for my timmy!!

Tonight was our date night.. we went to King Buffet for dinner.. yumm crab’s legs! hehehe and then we went to see “Little Miss Sunshine”.. I gave it a C.. but carson seems like it.. Carson said I’m too girly girl… basically I was hoping more happy ending… chick flix kinda movie.. oh well..

Then we went to hasting and got some books to read! yeyy… yes .. i know.. destri + reading = NO WAY… but destri will try to read books.. will try! heheheh

Last night I went to Wal*Mart and got the firesafe, so that’s cool now I can put my valuable stuff :). Today we went on our date night since we haven’t done it this weekend.

We went to The Cafe, Carson ate lunch and I just had their creme brule with a scoop of homemade ice cream. After that we went to the Mall because the stupid EXPRESS girl forgot to remove the security tag from the jeans that I bought yesterday. I was going to wear that jeans today… so yeah but before that we went to the $1.50 theather. We went to see X-Men 3. It was awesome.. I love it!

One of the indonesian gal had a BBQ this afternoon, but we didn’t go because it was toooo hot!!!! I really could kill people if I had to be outside! but .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY karen!!! sorry we couldn’t make it..

Well.. tomorrow is Monday! another 5 days to Friday! hehehe let’s count the days together fellow co-workers!!

Early in the monring (11am hehehehe) we went to Lowe’s to get some stuff for our backyard, and then we went home.. while Carson working on our backyard, I made Asparagus & Corn soup. It was so yummy since yesterday was kinda cold.

We had our date night yesterday, we went to see the break up (it was alrite.. not as funny as I thought it would be..) and then we went to La Fuentes (Mexcian Rest.) It was a good dinner.. overall we had so much fun together…
