Here you go Destri…
Spent today trying to get a paper ready for submission. It has been over a month that I have been working on this paper and it still had small errors and typos in it. You would think by now - I could hand in a paper that did not say “to” instead of “two” or “are” for “our”. It was kind of frustrating and embarrassing.
Just finished the book: Thank you for Smoking. It was okay. I give it a B. It had some mildly amusing parts but Buckley made some parts PG-13 when he did not have to.
Also solved New Super Mario Bros on Nitendo DS. I give that game a B-. I find DS games very easy to beat. I recently played Super Monkey Ball for the DS and after literally 8 mazes the game was over.
The queue of my top 5 movies I want to go watch when they are out:
1. Little Miss Sunshine
2. Borat
3. Transformers
4. Invincible
5. Snakes on a Plane
Fine.. I will just need to keep on buying you more games to beat then…
the only DS game that I beated is SPRUNG.. and that’s a cheesy dating game.. blah..
I LOVE YOU thanks for updating your blog
I actually saw ’snakes on a plane’ last weekend and I’ve to tell you I didn’t like it. I really thought it was a huge waste of time and money. In fact, the first weekend gross hardly met the producers’ expectations.
Well I will have to talk to Destri about going to SOAP. We might have to wait until it is at the dollar theater. I hope it will at least be worth $1.50.
SOAP? Sorry, I’m not sure what that is since I come from different state. However, I do think it’s worth $1.50 since if you were to watch it on DVD, it would probably cost that much for 2 people to watch it, plus this type of movie is made for big screen, that is, to maximize the fear factor effect, with all the loud noises and unsuspecting snake jerkings & bites, etc. Enjoy!
Sorry it is just a bad acronym. SOAP = Snakes On A Plane
hahahahah… I feel so stupid right now for not catching that…. it was really really late at night when I read the comment and replied. Was tired already and eyes half awake.
Also, have you gotten the chance to see the movie? Review, please, if you have time. I was thinking about seeing it.
I meant “Thank You For Not Smoking” - have you gotten the chance to see the movie since you read the book?
Not yet - it does not come out on DVD until October - then I will watch it and review it.
Why your blog always have people commented on them!!
Because I talk about REALLY interesting stuff.
hmm.. I’m mad!!!
NOT GONNA WRITE ANYMORE BLOG THEN!
Oh, no! I hope you don’t stop blogging! I really enjoy reading your daily entries quietly. You probably think it’s so weird b/c you live in small city or college town, but the normalcy of your daily life is intriguing because sometimes I feel like I can totally relate to what you are going through. You work two different jobs and still manage to cook, clean, and blog everyday. I don’t know how you do it! I work one job but sometimes, I don’t really feel like doing anything when I get home. And, when you mentioned in older post that you bought nice top/skirt for only a few bucks from Target (I think), I told my husband how I feel so motivated to find good deals as well vs. buying overpriced branded stuff. BTW, you two seem like a really nice, cute, and loving couple!!!
BTW, I never blog so I don’t know how this works… but, do you guys get a new message in your email or something that lets you know everytime you get a comment? Especially if a guest write comments on much older post because I doubt you’ll go back to archive to check if anyone write any comments. How does that work?
That is exactly how it works - I doubt Destri will stop blogging.
